{it's thursday, I think}

Sitting in the sunshine. Eighty degrees. Total bliss. Got groceries in this morning. Youngest son helped. Had to go to a different store than I usually do and was shocked and delighted at all the meat. This is America. I'm not supposed to be surprised at what's always been normal. Spoiled? Maybe, or just used to what I'm used to.

I've asked my 2 children who still live at home if they're ok with everything that's going on. They assure me that they are, for which I'm thankful. Me, I'm still all sideways. Very little traffic on the streets. Tape on the floor at checkout lines every 6 feet.

Just stating the obvious here.

For my mental health, I'm one by one painting Wayne Thiebaud's work. So far I've completed a slice of cake, a cupcake, a slice of pie and a mug of coffee. Sketched out donuts yesterday. I'm using Caron D'Ache watercolor crayons, which are magical.

Hamburgers for dinner. Yay meat. No need to go out for several days. All is sorta well.

Take care.
